Mumsy trouble
Mastermind’s ex-girlfriend Mumsy wants a little fun and she knows just how to make him come running.

Mastermind (Ntokozo Dlamini) had better get ready to fight for his romance with Thobile (Nokuthula Mabika) because his no- good ex- girlfriend Mumsy (Nomcebo Gumede) is back to tie him up in knots – for her own amusement. “Mumsy needs this thrill of causing havoc,” hints Nomcebo. “She doesn’t care because she doesn’t see Thobile as a threat. She manipulates Mastermind if and when she wants to.” No wonder that Thobile doesn’t like what she picks up between the pair on Friday 4 May! And while Mastermind and Thobile seem to be reconnecting by Monday 7 May after a tough patch, Mastermind will be stewing in guilt over his rekindled flame with Mumsy.
SHEBEEN SCENE
Any hope that Mastermind might have of keeping his nonsense with Mumsy under wraps will go up in smoke on Tuesday 8 May when Mumsy causes a scene at the shebeen. “Expect drama on a higher grade too,” says Nomcebo wickedly. “She just wants him when she feels the urge. She’s just up to her usual tricks. Mumsy should actually be the ‘Mastermind of Uzalo’ as she knows exactly how to play the puppetmaster.” Part of Mumsy’s talent for manipulation shines through in her new look too – it’s super-tight and sexy, laughs Nomcebo. “I was excited when I saw the wardrobe. I could tell that she will be on a whole new level this time. Maybe I should hire some bodyguards!”
GET A LIFE!
But maybe Mumsy wouldn’t be chasing trouble if she had her own little friends to play with. Unlike Thobile, Mumsy has no friends in KwaMashu and her behaviour won’t score her allies either – aside from scandalising her preacher dad Pastor Mdletshe (Glen Gabela). Nomcebo gives it thought though. “Not that Mumsy is easily influenced, but maybe she could calm down with friends who’re church-going and innocent… But she could also get a lot worse if she befriended someone like recovering alcoholic GC (Khaya Dladla) or gangster queen MaNgcobo (Dawn Thandeka King),” Nomcebo points out.
