“Tshidi is a woman on a mission!” warns Letoya Makhene. “She’s getting her power back and no one can stop this ambitious businesswoman.” But before she gets help with her rise to power, Tshidi needs to do a favour for her ex-fling Jack Mabaso (Vusi Kunene). He wants help destroying his business rival Michael’s ( Terence Bridgett) reputation on Wednesday 16 May. “Jack orders Tshidi to get close to Michael so that they can frame him for sexual harassment,” explains Letoya. “She takes Jack’s lead, not thinking about the cost…” Tshidi’s quest to reclaim her power started in March this year when she discovered that her husband Gadaffi (Vuyo Dabula) and brother Tau (Rapulana Seiphemo) were using her marketing and public relations company

#hashtag World as a cover for their illegal activities. Jack offers her a lot of money to destroy Michael’s life and it’s not like she needs it, insists the actress. “Tshidi stole Gaddafi’s money [that he made from his illegal deals] last year May, so she’s set for life. She’s greedy and she wants something to keep her busy as she doesn’t have access to #hashtag anymore,” says Letoya.

PEP TALK

Before she begins with her dirty deed, Tshidi confides in her mother Zondiwe (Abigail Kubeka) later on Wednesday 16 May about tarnishing Michael’s reputation. But Zondiwe tries to stop her. “She tells Tshidi not to sell out her morals for a quick buck,” says Letoya. Zondiwe believes that she taught her daughter how to act responsibly and “she tells Tshidi that she can’t depend on men for money. First it was Gadaffi and now it’s Jack. Zondiwe has some words of advice for Tshidi when she tells her to consider Michael’s feelings before going through with this,” explains Letoya, but Tshidi doesn’t want to hear any of it.

She meets with Michael on Thursday 17 May and asks him to hire her as his public relations agent to clean up his public image after he was exposed for funding Jack’s land development project without his business partners’ approval. “Tshidi manages to convince Michael that she’s the best in the business and she tells him that she will fix everything. But she’s obviously lying,” reveals the actress.

WATCH OUT!

Michael’s journalist daughter Zoe (Schelaine Bennett) doesn’t buy Tshidi’s plan to help her father on Thursday 17 May. Zoe believes that Tshidi is a complete liar and that she has shown her true colours when she launched a fake campaign to destroy Jack after their break-up in January last year. “Zoe doesn’t trust that Tshidi is loyal to her father. She warns Michael about Tshidi’s deceit,” grins Letoya. But Zoe’s advice falls on deaf ears.

THE SEDUCTRESS

True to her word, Tshidi organises an interview with a prominent journalist on Monday 21 May to clear Michael’s name and they go to lunch after the interview. Her sweet talking leads Michael to believe that the article will get him in his business partners’ good books again but “she just wants to butter him up and stab him in the back when he least expects it. Michael is blinded by lust… for now.”
