MaZulu takes Ngcolosi to task when he refuses to see Zithulele, who has returned home to Umlazi and Maluju Oil. Yuveer’s lover Ashwin crashes Yuveer and Shria’s proposal ceremony, and Nganono wrestles with his feelings for Shria.

6 – 10 AUGUST

City-boy Zithulele is in for a rude awakening but Phakade is impressed when he adapts, and Zithulele meets local girl Nhlanhla. Nganono wonders if he’s cut out for working at Maluju when Zakithi returns, and Yuveer and Ashwin’s affair is frontpage news thanks to Phanyuka. Shria announces that Yuveer isn’t gay and that the wedding is still on, and Buhle helps Mthandazeli create a fake CV but the workers are determined to get rid of Mthandazeli, especially when Mthandazeli blackmails Bangizwe into doing her work for her.

13 – 14 AUGUST

Nhlanhla finds Zithulele charming but she rejects him after she’s warned that he will bring bad luck, and Nerupa and Sanil wonder who was behind the press article about Yuveer.
