Xander realises that Nicole isn’t over Daniel, Victor kicks Xander out the mansion for flirting with Nicole and messing with Daniel, and Eric confronts Serena about the photo Xander sent him of Serena and Xander in bed. Chad and Abby kiss and have sex, Clyde warns Ben that Chad wants Abby back, and Marlena gives Will some advice on saving his marriage.

6 – 10 AUGUST

Classy Kate exposes Lucas and Adrienne’s affair during little Arianna’s birthday party, and Justin forces Kate to hire Paul. Victor threatens to murder Clyde if he comes to the mansion again, and Aiden drops Clyde as a client. Chad breaks Abby’s heart after Stefano gloats over their affair, and Eve looks into Laura’s history of mental illness as she plots revenge on Jennifer. Theresa agrees to stay in Salem with baby Tate for the next year but Brady tells her their relationship is over and refuses to let her move into the mansion, and Xander physically attacks Nicole after she uncovers his criminal record.

Eric intervenes when Xander tries to murder Nicole, and a teary Abby details her affair with Chad in her diary.
