Emilio proved his innocence when season 1 ended in April and that Detective Gerardo had framed him, and ganglord El Centauro wasn’t pleased by what he found at The Ranch.

6 – 10 AUGUST

Detective Gerardo heads back to Canada with Yolanda at his side, unaware that they’re going to be fetched by El Centauro’s henchman Isidro. Yolanda escapes from Isidro’s taxi as it’s blown up but there’s no sign of Gerardo in the wreckage. Centauro sends Yolanda a message, then he gets back to torturing his hostage for more information for his next move. Gerardo sends Yolanda to a doctor but she’s not sure if she can trust the medic, and Centauro has a new target: Cholo. There’s war when El Centauro’s men get Cholo and his crew backed into a corner, and later Centauro begins erasing Cholo’s memory. Yolanda tries to start over in Canada and goes for a job interview but she doesn’t realise that the stranger standing next to her in the lift is El Centauro in disguise. Cristina’s date night with Roman is ruined when she gets an SMS about her mom being in hospital, and Mariana and Rafael fight about Detective Gerardo.

13 – 14 AUGUST

Lucho doesn’t realise that he’s under surveillance by Lalo, while Ana and Miguel are furious when they discover that someone has stolen their money – and it might be Liborio. Elsewhere, El Centauro confronts Yolanda with a rifle but she escapes before he can get a shot off.
