Thathe’s reign of Terror
Rendani and Skhumbuzo are in the firing line when a trigger-happy Terror waves his guns around.

Nothing will stop thug Terror (Tshepo Seagiso) from finding the scum who murdered his gangster dad Terror Sr [offscreen and years before Terror came to town]. “Terror is certain that Moliehi ( Vatiswa Ndara) and her family killed his father, but Moliehi is a difficult one to crack,” says Tshepo. But like any gangster worth his salt, Terror knows how to get the answers he needs, adds the actor with a smirk: “He targets Moliehi’s stepson Skhumbuzo (Thokozani Zikalala) – the weakest link in the family chain.” And come Wednesday 29 August, Terror is raining down pure evil rage on his unsuspecting victim.
SOFT TARGET
Terror takes Skhu’s girlfriend Rendani (Innocentia Makapila) hostage, pointing a gun at her and her family. “This guy knows that Skhumbuzo is soft and he exploits him by going after Rendani. By attacking her, Terror is attacking Skhu in a way that is more painful as he isn’t physically hurting – it’s worse,” explains Tshepo, whose character would think nothing of murdering his enemies. Terror has everyone seated
and sobbing, fearing for their lives on Thursday 30 August. Terror is cruel and vindictive and “he waves his power in Skhu’s face,” says Tshepo, “telling him that either he answers the questions or ‘ the girl gets it’.” Trying to play hero, Skhumbuzo leaps up on Friday 31 August and tries to grab the gun – rookie mistake! A shot rings out, Skhu takes a punch to the face and Rendani falls to floor with a bullet wound.
BANG BANG
“Terror is a hardcore gangster, a killer. He doesn’t flinch if guns are pointed at him,” warns Tshepo. “He gave Skhu incentive to come clean but he chose wrong and now his girlfriend pays for ‘his’ crimes.” And it is a matter of life or death, says Innocentia: “Rendani is seriously wounded. She’s rushed to hospital, fighting to live.” With Terror still looking for answers, Rendani won’t be the last person taking a bullet…
