Kero puts his childhood in the rear-view mirror by teaming up with Claudia to throw his ex-bestie back behind bars.

For community hero Kero (Meshack Mavuso), destroying his former friend and now enemy Banzi’s (Hamilton Dlamini) business reputation is for everyone’s benefit. There’s no crime to great or small for ruthless Banzi, whether it’s fraud, drugs, gangs and even rape – he’ll do it. “Growing up with Banzi, Kero knows where his weak spot is,” explains Meshack, “and he’s taking aim at the ex- convict’s business empire.” Banzi was in prison from April to July this year and he’s been trying to take back everything that his ex-wife Claudia (Chichi Letswalo) took from him. And that is why Kero teams up with Claudia – if she’s strong, Banzi stays weak, says the actor. “Kero is tired of seeing his loved ones in pain because of Banzi.” He’s determined to see Banzi on his knees and he’s going to do that on Wednesday 29 August by stealing the student building from under crooked Banzi’s nose.
Didn’t Kero swear never to talk to Chichi after they broke up earlier this year? Yes, but that’s personal… this is business. Claudia has info about her ex-husband that no one else has access to and that is useful to Kero. His feelings for her died the second she did business with Banzi. Putting Banzi back in prison is a professional relationship to them. What’s in it for Claudia? Obviously she will get the building project that she’s always wanted – the one that Banzi has kept from her. She’s power-hungry and getting Banzi out of the way is the only way for her to get to the top. Do they have a strategy? Banzi has been around the block and won’t be easy to take down… They’re going to frame him for murder, something that he’s done before. They’ve brainstormed and of all their ideas, this is the best to get him arrested. Let’s hope that it doesn’t blow up in their faces… He really hates Banzi, doesn’t he? They were great friends in the past but Banzi has always stabbed him in the back. Kero believes that Banzi is a danger to society and he knows what Banzi is capable of, so Kero wants to protect everyone from this monster. How far are Kero and Claudia willing to go to get the job done? Kero is going against the law, something that he has always been against. His fear is going back to jail, so Kero is risking his life to settle scores with Banzi.
