JJ has been a cheater, a dealer and a druggie – but it’s time he used his bad-boy powers for good.

JJ Deveraux (Casey Moss) was a fullblown bad boy when he arrived in Salem in June 2016 after being expelled from school. In August 2016, he was arrested for stealing and dealing drugs from the hospital. But ever since a friend overdosed during a sex and drugs orgy with JJ in December 2016, he has been trying to be better – even with a hiccup here and there. On Friday 31 August, the DEA (Drug Enforcement Agency) realise that with JJ’s reputation, he would be the best bet to go undercover to find out who has been flooding Salem with drugs. JJ refuses, telling them, “There’s no way in hell I’m doing this!” But luckily for the DEA, all it takes is jealousy to get JJ on their side…
SAVING PAIGE
When JJ’s ex-lover Paige ( True O’Brien) ignores his warning on Friday 7 September that the guy she’s flirting with is a shady and dangerous drug dealer, it sends him back to the DEA on Monday 10 September, determined to protect Paige. JJ will be sworn to secrecy about what he’s really doing and soon he gets branded as a bad boy again. And while he’s losing allies left, right and centre, JJ makes a dangerous enemy with the likes of drug kingpin Clyde Weston (James Read). But JJ would do anything to save Paige from the dark world that he already knows too well. “Instead of being self- destructive to hurt people or himself, he’s been self- destructive because he has no fear,” says Casey.
REBEL FOR REAL
Sometimes Casey seems to have a little too much JJ in him! These episodes were broadcast in July 2015 in the US and a few months later, on Monday 26 October 2015, Casey was arrested for threatening to punch a barman in Arizona when the man refused to keep serving him alcohol. As the police carted him off, Casey tried to escape and yelled out, “I’m Casey Moss! I’m an actor on Days Of Our Lives!” In June 2016, Casey admitted that “I had an awakening. The best thing you can do is learn from it and not mess up what you have and grow from it instead of feeling bad about it”.
