While Ray (Liev Schreiber) has his hands full with crazy celeb clients who’re doing everything from fake kidnappings to straight-up murder, as well as his dysfunctional family, at least the Hollywood fixer has a few lighter moments to deal with this season now that the FBI are off his back for a murder committed back in his hometown of Boston. Episode 1 Ray is summoned to the back of a sex shop where blackmailers have cable-tied their famous client’s naughty bits to a hole in the wall. It’s such a silly situation to be in that Ray can’t help but laugh before sorting things out. Episode 4 (26 Sept) When a gameshow co-host refuses to come out of her trailer unless she gets to be the host for once, Ray slaps the main host Sandy Patrick (Jack Wagner, Dominick Marone from 2003 to 2012 on Bold & Beautiful, 1987-current) until he gives his colleague her shot at running the show. And as real leverage, Ray mentions that his client is a personal favourite of the network’s new boss.

Episode 6 (10 Oct) How do you get rid of your strongest competitor if you’re bidding on the same deal? Why not simply drug him and lock him in a motel room so that he misses the deadline? Dusts hands, job done.

Episode 8 (24 Oct) Ray bribes a wildlife department official to lend him a snake that he then forces to swallow a baggie of heroin – Ray is going to plant it in his target’s luggage to be discovered at the airport. After that, all that Ray has to do is cover up the fact that his boss just murdered his son-in-law… who was also his gay lover. Get the mop, Ray.
