Brooke and Ridge have a marriage meltdown over one another’s feelings of betrayal, and Ridge and Thorne have a brotherly moaning session about evil Bill. Katie privately considers changing Will’s custody agreement after Brooke tells her that Ridge was blackmailing the judge, and Wyatt quits Spencer Publications in favour of working with Sally as social media manager at Forrester Creations. Steffy tattles to Hope and Ridge about Brooke and Bill kissing, not realising that Brooke later rejected him. Donna returns, and Charlie proposes to Pam at long, long, long last!

Lucas announces that he is seeking sole custody of baby Bonnie, and Belle is stuck in the middle when Mimi and Chloe’s schoolyard rivalry rears its ugly head. Rex Brady (yes, the tinfoil space twin – now played by Kyle Lowder, Days’ ex-Brady) is back in Salem, and Claire plots to force Ben into helping her break up Tripp and Ciara. Gabi does the leg work to get Chad to send Abby to an insane asylum, and Kristen realises that Brady deliberately tricked her into having sex as part of a plot against her. Sami and Eric meanwhile go snooping in Xander’s lair just as Nicole escapes Xander’s clutches.

The Jabot board remove the clause about only biological Abbotts being allowed to run the company, and Ashley is voted in as company head and she tells Jack that a real DNA test has proven that he’s been John Abbott’s biological son all along – she just paid Andrew to tamper with the results. Victoria, Phyllis and Sharon receive new notes containing the message “If you don’t want anyone to find out what you did, it will cost you”, and Billy humps and dumps Summer to spite Phyllis after he is released from rehab.
