Extreme action
Eco-terrorist Nina is going radical with her new attack.
There’s very little that eco-warrior Nina (Charlene Le Roux) won’t do to keep hold of her protégé Wade (Dean John Smith) on Wednesday 21 November. Up to now, she’s been able to convince him that the vandalism of Oos-Wes restaurant and Aalwyn pharmacy were warranted, but Wade is slowly mending his bond with his brother
Ty (Maurice Paige) and that’s something Nina can’t allow as Ty is the one person who will be able to call her out. And Nina needs Wade’s help to bring Suidooster Properties to its knees for her next plan of action.
BREAK-IN
“Wade takes everything that Nina tells him at face value,” says Dean. When she asks him on Thursday 22 November to keep his distance from Ty and help her break into Suidooster Properties, he agrees. Nina wants to teach the estate agency a lesson because they want to start a development that threatens a wetland. Wade steals the keys from Lee-Ann (Portia Joel) and creeps into the office wearing a mask. “He creates carnage,” warns Dean.
ZOE KNOWS!
The estate agents are upset when they arrive at the office, but no one is more freaked out than Wade’s ex- girlfriend Zoe (Lauren Joseph) when she sees the security camera footage on Thursday 23 November. “Zoe is convinced that it’s Wade but she keeps it to herself for now,” explains Dean.
THE BOMB DROPS
Nina is fuming on Tuesday 27 November when she hears that despite trashing their office, Suidooster Properties is going ahead with the development. She and her followers pitch up at the development site to protest and it leads to an explosive situation that leaves Zoe injured. Charlene says that Nina is furious “and she decides that it’s time to take more extreme action”. After an anonymous tip-off that Zoe may be involved in the vandalism, the police investigate Zoe’s meditation studio on Thursday 29 November but they can’t find concrete evidence to link her to the terror attacks around Ruiterbosch.
Wade is exasperated on Friday 30 November when he discovers details of Nina’s new, more extreme plan: she is going to plant a bomb at the estate agency offices! For the first time, he is scared of the new girl in his life. But will his fear be enough to come out of the spell that Zoe has him under? Or maybe he will turn to Ty for help. And Zoe still knows what he’s up to…
