Rubbed the right way
Sheila sinks her claws in with a new plan to steal Eric.
According to psycho Sheila (Kimberlin Brown), the way to a man’s heart isn’t with a juicy steak but rather by replacing the woman who cheated on him with his hunky handyman. Since returning to LA in July, Sheila has repeatedly tried to split up Eric (John McCook) and Quinn (Rena Sofer). “In her twisted mind, she truly believes that she should be Mrs Forrester and not Quinn,” explains the actress, whose character was engaged to Eric in the early ’90s. To prove that Quinn has betrayed Eric’s love on Friday 16 November, Sheila bribes his handyman Mateo (Francisco San Martin) to do more than just trim Quinn’s hedges and fill her the pool.
HOT TO THE TOUCH
A stressed Quinn asks Mateo to give her a massage on Friday 23 November, remembering that he said earlier that he is good with his hands. “She has no clue that Sheila has paid him off,” adds Kimberlin. Despite leading him on, Mateo gets a little too handsy for Quinn on Monday 26 November and she fires him on the spot, prompting the youngster to spill the beans on Sheila’s plan, says Rena. “He tells her everything. What Sheila paid him to do and how she’s planning to take Quinn’s husband.” Sheila has met her mindgame match in Quinn though, who has a plan herself and tells Eric that same day to play along.
CHEERS TO THE WITCH
Thinking that Mateo has completed his task, Sheila not only tells Eric that what Quinn has been doing on Tuesday 27 November, she marches into his house with her portrait to hang over the mantelpiece. “She’s there to claim her throne but Eric tells her that he knows everything. This is one of the few times that Sheila has been caught offguard,” says Kimberlin. Eric calls in a sheepish Mateo who confesses, but while Eric and Quinn are grinning as Sheila turns to leave, she offers the couple an ominous warning: “I’ll be back!”
