Who’s the daddy?

The diapers are about to hit the fan as Liam learns his pregnant wife Steffy’s secret: she slept with his daddy too.

-

What a web of lies Steffy (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood) finds herself in this fortnight! Her positive pregnancy test has forced her to face a question she’d rather bury in the backyard: who’s the father? After finding out in early December that her hubby Liam (Scott Clifton) kissed

Sally (Courtney Hope) while buried in the building rubble created by her father-in-law Bill (Don Diamont), Steffy hopped in the sack with bad-boy Bill. Two wrongs don’t make a right but it’s somehow made a baby and a panicking Steffy gets a paternity test to find out if the child in her is Liam’s or Bill’s.

TEARS OF FEARS

While Steffy sighs with relief when the DNA test shows that Liam will be a dad, there’s another problem that she hasn’t considered. “That paternity test is gonna rock her world in bad way,” confesses Jacqueline. Steffy’s phone rings while she is relaxing with Liam and being close to her handbag, he reaches in to grab the phone… and the test results. “His face goes from joy to wanting to vomit,” says Scott. Seeing the terror, rage and upset on Liam’s face, Steffy knows she’s busted. “Liam is beyond rage. He wants to know the truth and he pressures Steffy,” adds Scott. Sobbing, she stabs him through the heart with her words: “It was Bill. It was your dad. I’m so sorry!”

DEADBEAT DAD OR TOP POPS?

“We wanted to stir the pot with this storyline,” explains Bold’s executive producer Bradley Bell. “Fans will now start to wonder who will be the better father for the baby: Liam or Bill.” Of course Liam is the better bet. He’s caring and loving and the ideal dad. That’s in stark contrast to bullying Bill, who raised Liam and

Wyatt (Darin Brooks) by the sword: strict and ruthless. He is cruel and vindictive and mean. “Will Bill show us a softer side? Maybe…” suggests Bradley.

If Liam wasn’t angry enough about Bill almost killing him in the building demolition, this will send him to war with his dad. “We’re going to see a huge shift in Liam’s character. He is aggressive and takes on his dad in a way we’ve never seen,” warns Bradley.
