The Kingdom Community church is by no means ready to give up despite the financial difficulties that they face, and Mrs Madlala steps up to volunteer as the new youth leader. Sibonelo wants to honour the promise that he made his mother, and Gabisile is chuffed when she sees Sibonelo and Qhabanga becoming friends. Sibonelo is still struggling with the fact that Gabisile’s choices cost him his father Nkunzi’s love while he was growing up, and MaNgcobo must step lightly in her new business with Njeza. Njeza agrees to undergo a cleansing ceremony and a forgiveness ritual, but the process will be more challenging than he is expecting, Lily draws attention to herself at the police station, while Zekhethelo must find Nkunzi’s car and dodge a menacing Sbu.
