Liam (Scott Clifton) rolls up his sleeves today to take on his bully dad Bill (Don Diamont) for having sex with his wife Steffy (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood), which Liam found out about when he saw the paternity results in Steffy’s bag. “Blood will flow,” warns Scott when tvplus spoke to him in Los Angeles. “This confrontation is epic and will show a side of Liam hardly seen.”

How is Liam going to deal with Bill now that he knows the truth? This is probably the biggest betrayal Liam has suffered. He isn’t a fighter by nature, but you can expect a pretty explosive confrontation. Who wins? There’s no actual winner or loser. Liam is knocked around a bit but he gives his father a bloody nose and bruise around his eye. Can Bill ever redeem himself? The answer is a categorical no. Asking Liam to forgive Bill for something like this is like asking him to walk through walls or move things with his mind. No. Liam is different to Bill and his brother Wyatt (Darin Brooks). Liam has Bill’s Spencer blood in his veins, but having been raised by his mother Kelly (who was never seen) makes the difference. Liam’s childhood and adolescent experiences probably shaped him more than his blood. Does Liam still love Steffy or care for this baby? He certainly cares about his child with Steffy – it’s his, the test says so. It is clear enough to Liam that he’ll never be able to look Steffy in the eye again. Will Bill show any remorse? Liam’s learnt that Bill’s remorse is no guarantee of future behaviour. NB! See p25.
