THE LOST BOYS
The iconic 1987 vampire movie The Lost Boys has been greenlit as a series following two disastrous sequels in 2008 and 2010, The Lost Boys: The Tribe and The Lost Boys: The Thirst. Kiefer Sutherland isn’t expected to reprise his role as biker gang leader David Powers, but Corey Feldman will be back in his vampire-killing boots as Edgar Frog. Executive producer Rob Thomas (the man behind zombie comedy iZombie, 2015-current) has already planned for seven seasons of the show, with each instalment taking place over a decade of supernatural horror in the seaside town of Santa Clara that begins in the ’60s and continues to 2030. The series is expected to follow the original movie plot about two brothers who fall in love with the vampire underworld after moving to Santa Clara with their widow mom, unaware of how much trouble they’re in.
