A flawed favour
Dr Nathan is forced into a corner by a baddie from his past.
Psychologist Dr Nathan (Vaughn Lucas) is always available when a Hillsider needs help. But when he’s found unconscious in his office at the Hillside Clinic, it’s the good doctor who’s in need of medical assistance.
MIXED UP MESS
Nathan’s girlfriend Bonita (Hildegardt Whites) thinks that it’s a drug overdose but the shrink refutes that immediately. He can’t remember much of anything, but drugs aren’t even an option. “Not being able to recall anything is a serious concern,” explains Vaughn. The mystery deepens when a young albino boy is also found in Dr Nathan’s office and he’s unable to account for that too.
PAST COMES CALLING
Nathan’s memory does return somewhat later on but Vaughn won’t reveal everything, only letting slip that this is to do with Nathan’s past. “He recalls a man called Koppe (Eric Jansen) asking him to do a favour with the albino boy whose name is Hector (Lutendo Mugeri). We’re not allowed to reveal the extent of the “favour” that Nathan has been asked to do, but it’s going to take a lot of hard work if he wants to get out alive.

27 FEB – 1 MARCH
Karmen tells her parents about her new friend, and Lesedi seeks advice from Aggie about her domestic worker issues. Connie extends an olive branch to Willem, Diederik makes a positive impression on the residents of Hillside after he revealed his HIV status, and Marko and Esti go on a date. Dr Fikani meanwhile helps a friend in need.
4 – 8 MARCH
Rickus has a new gym buddy, and Alexa is surprised to see how well her mother Mariaan and Fikani are getting along. Hillside’s women have their hands full when their guys come down with man flu, and Charmaine receives unsettling news. Diederik confides in Rickus, and Marko refuses to admit that his health isn’t looking too good. Nathan opens up to Bonita about his past, Fikani empathises with Andre and Marko who are both ill, and Olivia and Diederik have a huge marital fight. Connie’s patience with André is wearing thin, Nathan and Bonita work on a plan together, and Aggie supports a hopeful Diederik
11 – 12 MARCH
Bonita gets an odd phonecall about Nathan, and Fikani thinks that his mind is playing tricks on him. Olivia tells Willem off, and Diedie uses work to distract his from his problems.
