Xander and Zoe investigate their suspicions, and Zoe runs into Florence in Reese’s apartment after Reese vanishes. Hope is horrified and asks Reese about exactly what he did at Catalina Island after Liam meets the baby that Steffy is adopting. Hope is welcomed back at Hope For The Future. Ridge gushes over the new baby Phoebe Forrester but he and Brooke have doubts about the suspiciously quick adoption process – as does Florence.

Lani is swept away by a romantic encounter with Eli, and Eli questions Hope about what she’s getting up to with nasty Ted. Ciara’s family realise that she is missing just as she wakes up tied to a bed in a cabin – yet again! Abe, Melinda and Jack are all in the election race to become Salem’s mayor, and Chloe receives an anonymous threat.
