Thokozile tricks MaZulu with muti
Thokozile uses unconventional methods to try steal her babydaddy Ngcolosi away from MaZulu.
Scheming Thokozile (Nqobile Sipamla) has a grudge to settle with MaZulu (Leleti Khumalo) and she’s going all-out to get what she wants. “Thokozile is after Mazulu’s husband
Ngcolosi (Tony Kgoroge). They were school sweethearts but Thokozile believes MaZulu, who was also in school with them, stole Ngcolosi from her. Thoko really wants a happy ending with Ngcolosi and will use as many tricks as possible to get what she wants,” says Nqobile.
In her latest effort, she visits a sangoma for muti in the hope that it will drive MaZulu and Ngcolosi apart. “Her behaviour is irrational and might seem bizarre, but she is a desperate woman, which makes her a dangerous person,” explains Nqobile. And the muti is going to wreak havoc on MaZulu.
BEWITCHING HOUR
Mazulu’s initial thoughts when she has bad dreams and supernatural feelings is that her sister-in-law kaM
adonsela (Fundiswa Zwane) that is doing something to her. kaMadonsela used muti on MaZulu last year when they had a fight over kaMadonsela’s husband
Phakade (Sandile Dlamini), who fathered MaZulu’s children. As time passes, MaZulu grows more worried about her mental state. “MaZulu is affected by the muti in ways that she can’t sleep at all in her marital bed and she feels an evil presence in the room,” explains Nqobile.
TROUBLES
Thokozile is over the moon when she hears the gossip about what the muti is doing to MaZulu. “She truly believes that things at the Bhengu house are becoming unhinged and she tries to reach out to Ngcolosi, but he is more worried about his wife and her strange behaviour,” says Nqobile as Ngcolosi still ignores Thokozile’s advances. “She feels devastated and decides to get stronger muti to use against MaZulu.” She sneaks into the Bhengu house a second time, careful to follow instructions on where to hide the muti.
A LITTLE HELP
Leleti reveals that the new muti makes MaZulu see Ngcolosi as a demon that attacks her in her dreams. “She is terrified and reaches out to Phakade for help,” says Leleti. He gives her a bottle of holy water to cleanse her bedroom. It’s only then, when cleaning the room, that she finds the muti. Now it’s only a matter of time for MaZulu to figure out who put it there in the still of night…
