Gugu almost murdered Ntokozo, Sibongile was caught sneaking out of her home to meet her boyfriend Stompie, and Melusi had no intention of cutting ties with his ex-mistress Thathi despite the trouble that their romance has brought.

IN THIS ISSUE

Phumlani is furious after getting to the bottom of Thathi and Melusi’s meeting, Zodwa gets into an argument with a teacher regarding Sibongile’s behaviour at school, and Gladys discovers her husband Melusi’s web of lies. Phumlani slaps Thathi across the face after he learns that she met with Melusi at their home, Sibongile begs Stompie to lie on her behalf, and Gladys is ready to walk out of her marriage after Melusi’s latest betrayal. Thathi pulls a disappearing act following her fight with Phumlani, Zodwa and Bongani’s relationship takes strain, and Sibongile makes up another lie to spend the night at Stompie’s house.

Phumlani heaves a sigh of relief when he finds Thathi at her mother Mam’Sonto’s house and he is further put at ease when he realises that Thathi hasn’t told her family about their dispute that had turned physical. What Phumlani doesn’t know is that Thathi has told Melusi that Phumlani slapped her and the men get into a brawl. Gladys is disappointed when she finds out that Melusi and Thathi are on speaking terms again even after all that has happened, and Sibongile desires to turn her life around for the better. Miss Hlongwane announces a spelling bee competition, Sibongile is abducted, and Gladys hands Melusi divorce papers. Elsewhere, Zodwa is alarmed when Sibongile doesn’t return home, Gladys kicks Melusi out of their home, and Phumlani strangles Thathi when she tries to leave him.
