MaDongwe loses her temper with her daughter Lilly, an unlikely alliance is formed between Nkunzi and Mondli as they try to find Cocoa, and Hleziphi finds Nonka’s questions about Kwanda irritating. Sbu’s escape plan is put in motion, Cocoa’s rescue mission presents deadly surprises, and Lilly becomes a viral hit thanks to a radio show. Lilly storms out after a heated exchange of words with MaDongwe, Nkunzi gives Mondli a reality check, and Hleziphi finds out that Nonka kicked Kwanda out.
Sbu tries to get Njeza to be a part of his escape plan, Hleziphi and Nonka try to juggle Kwanda but tensions hit an all-time high, and Vika is willing to do anything to get out of jail. An old church friend tells MaDongwe off, Mondli isn’t going to let Vika get off easy as he teaches him a lesson, and Kwanda breaks things off with Hleziphi. Lilly shows the community of KwaMashu that she’s in love, Nonka cuts all ties with Kwanda, and Vika asks for help from the person he fears most. Lilly faces discrimination when she least expects it, and a surprise visit at the station derails Mondli’s case. Mr Mbatha meanwhile makes a declaration on sin and sexuality in his church.
