Hearts aflutter

Heartbreak leads Lindelani into the arms of another woman.

-

If there’s one thing we keep learning about Lindelani (Mike Ndlangamandla) and Mbali’s (Nelisiwe Sibiya) relationship, it’s that those two will always find their way back to each other. Mbali even forgave Lindelani when she found out in February this year that he’s the father of their co-worker’s

Sne’s (Nomcebo Mhlongo) unborn child. But this time it looks like it’s really the end of the road for the couple because Lindelani seems to find love in another woman’s arms – that’s if she’s willing to put up with his antics… CHOICES, CHOICES Per tradition, Mbali wed her late husband’s brother

Thabo (Meshack Mavuso) recently – an agenda that was pushed by Mbali’s mean mom-in-law. Mbali started developing feelings for Thabo though, which was devastating to Lindelani. So when he meets fellow Durban Gen worker Thembi (Sibongokuhle Nkosi) after responding to an emergency scene at a hiking trip, Lindelani doesn’t think twice when they hit it off. “They have a great sexual chemistry and the relationship seems good from the start,” adds Mike, whose character is loveable despite his obvious wandering eye for the fairer sex. CAUGHT IN THE MIDDLE Even when Thembi gets wind that there are still underlying issues and attraction between Lindelani and Mbali, she tries to befriend Lindelani’s daughter Lwandle (Lizwi Zenani Ndumo) to pull him closer to her.

Remember that Lindelani was introduced as a single dad who’d lost his wife and mother of his only child five years ago. He has been mourning her death and Mbali was there support him, but of course she couldn’t be there all the time. “Lindelani worries that Lwandle needs a mother’s love. He’s constantly looking for a woman who’ll give his daughter that care. His wife’s death has affected him in such a way that he looks for a woman who’ll first get along with Lwandle,” explains Mike.

“Thembi tries to win Lindelani’s heart by getting Lwandle to warm up to her, but Thembi will realise that Lindelani will always have a soft spot for Mbali,” warns Mike, hinting that Thembi will have to woman-up and see if she can handle dating a man whose heart half belongs to a woman he sees daily. “Don’t forget that Mbali gets jealous too…” adds the actor. Could Mbali be ready to run back to Lindelani too? Just remember that Thabo pulled a gun on the last man his wife cheated with…
