While buying a distressed house, renovating it and selling it for a quick tidy little profit can go one of two ways: money in the bank or a hole in the pocket. However, not all hope is lost as realtor superstar Page Turner is here to rescue home reno wrecks with her brand-new lifestyle show Fix My Flip.
Page travels around California and helps struggling flippers turn their flops around. “In exchange for a partnership and profit-share, I bring my own team, money and a dose of tough love to get the flipper’s project back on track to make top dollar,” explains Page, who is best known for hosting HGTV’s reno show Flip Or Flop Nashville in 2018-2019 with her exboyfriend DeRon Jenkins.
On her own show, Page not only transforms the homes into masterpieces, she offers the flippers expert advice from her own experiences. She’s their mentor, holding their hands until the project is complete and the house is sold. “I’ve been a realtor for 20 years and over the years I have witnessed the costly mistakes that people make while flipping,” explains Page, adding, “With my extensive knowledge, I know the feeling of being stuck, needing direction and guidance. In Fix My Flip, I get the amateur flippers out of the hole that they’ve dug themselves into. I become their coach and provide them with the tools to succeed.”
But as Page explains, not all flippers are willing to take her instruction and advice, which often leads to clashes and tensions between her and the home owners. “There are some twists and turns in the show and things can get dramatic. In the high-stakes world of flipping, anything is possible before you get that sold board outside.”
