Beatrice tries to convince Angel to postpone the wedding, Anton is silent about his and Nicolene’s history, and Lee-Roy’s first day back in Arendsvlei is disastrous. Laetitia deceives Daniel into writing a letter to Angel, Nicolene and Anton must both reflect on whether they may still have feelings for each other, and Priester surprises Angel with a large wedding gift. Anton and Nicolene’s relationship become even more difficult after Justin’s visit to the bakery. The pressure that Jamie puts on herself has a negative impact on her, and Hein confronts Anton about his behaviour towards Nicolene and tells him to stop it immediately.

Mic, Jamie and Eugene compete for the position on the Junior City Council, Lionel embarrasses Lee-Roy, Laetitia doesn’t give up hope that Daniel will save Angel from her own wedding day, and Mic is very competitive with Jamie. Angel tries to reach out to the people she trusts most in her life, Tally and Parra decide that it’s time to leave Arendsvlei, and Beatrice tries to comfort a shocked Daniel. Anton and Nicolene make peace and begin to feel something for each other, Ingrid and Ronnie celebrate the wedding and their business, and Lionel confronts Wesley after he sees him talking to a stranger. Nicolene meanwhile wants to do a school project with Anton.
