Sbu and Njeza team up against their gangster ex-boss Nkunzi.
After orchestrating the release of Sbu (Simphiwe Majozi) and Njeza (Nkanyiso Makhanya) from prison in April, the Magwaza crime family use them to take down their rival Nkunzi (Masoja Msiza), who happens to be Sbu and Njeza’s ex boss. “They have worked for Nkunzi for a few years, and before even starting their new business, they presented it to Nkunzi and he wasn’t very interested. So when the Magwazas came on board with their support, Sbu and Njeza were over the moon,” says Simphiwe.
Nkanyiso says that their car-wrapping business Loktion Bling Wrap will be the hottest spot in town. “To preserve the colour of the car, it’s wrapped in material that can easily be removed and changed when desired. It’s like a screen protector but for cars,” he chuckles.
NOTHING FOR MAHALA
Sbu and Njeza initially weren’t aware that the Magwazas were behind their prison release. And they soon learnt that it’s not because the Magwazas are good Samaritans – they want something in return! “The Magwazas know that Sbu and Njeza are two people who know more about Nkunzi’s dealings than anyone else. So they poached them from Nkunzi’s payroll. Who knows what they have planned for the most feared gangster in KwaMashu!” says Simphiwe, whose character is wary of Nkunzi.
KISS OF BETRAYAL
For any business to succeed, it needs a good marketing brain and Sbu’s girlfriend Hlelo (Nothando Ngcobo) not only proves that she’s got what it takes for their business, she impresses Njeza maybe a little too much!
“uHlelo is a very ambitious young woman who sees Loktion Bling Wrap as her way into a life of independence and success. She comes onboard to help the guys with the admin and business side of things because she’s better at that than them. But she’s also torn because this new business is still in its early stages, so she doesn’t want lose the salary she gets working for Nkunzi for something that’s not as established and permanent as yet,” Nothando explains her character’s dilemma.
One day when Hlelo and Njeza are waiting for Sbu, who’s late, they realise that there’s chemistry. “It’s undeniable and it leads to a kiss,” explains Nothando. Will Sbu catch onto what’s happening right under his nose? First he and Njeza need to focus on what’ll happen with Nkunzi when he finds out who’s funding their business and why they’ve chosen to betray him…

Gabisile claims back her power and goes back to the radio mic, MaDongwe looks set to let General disappear from her heart, and something unexpected happens between Hlelo and Njeza.
Gabisile makes a shocking decision that leaves Nkunzi frustrated, MaDongwe and General have a heart-to-heart discussion, and Njeza and Sbu have an altercation with their boss. Things don’t go according to plan for Nkunzi, while Sbu and Njeza’s business finally takes off, and tension is high between Nomaswazi and Vika. General is deployed to a war-torn country, and Hlelo finds herself divided between choosing Loktion Bling Wrap and KwaNjomane VIP Lounge. Kwanda is now working alongside someone he detests, and Vika has evidence of the sabotage and sets his sights on backstabbing Sbu and Njeza.
