Ndu’s love drama

Ndumiso’s got a woman who’s keeping him on his toes.

-

Ndumiso (Andile Sithole) tries to stay away from trouble as much as possible and always does the right thing while avoiding the spotlight. So when he gets unwanted attention from a mysterious woman, Ndumiso feels like a stunned deer in those exact spotlights he tries to flee. “Well, Ndu is a traditional Zulu man, so when this woman confronts him with her attention, he’s not sure what to do. A classic funny situation,” Andile says. But will it be love or a complete disaster?

THE HUNT IS ON

It’s been a while since Ndu was in a relationship. His main focus has always been his business and then raising his baby son with his ex-wife Gontse

(Khanyisile Zwane). Ndu likes the traditional way of doing things and being the one to pursue a woman, but when the mystery lady makes her intentions clear, it seems that he can’t hide from her.

“A very determined woman is on his tracks wherever he hides,” Andile giggles, adding that Ndu’s love interest isn’t afraid to push the envelope. “She’s got no problem chasing men.” But Ndu isn’t just any man – he’s been hurt before.

TRUST ISSUES

Gontse returned from Dubai, where she is working and studying in April this year, and then she wanted to take their son with her. So Ndu is more vigilant and protective than ever and it rattles him when an intruder gets into his house. “I’m keeping my lips sealed about who the intruder is, but Ndu is pretty freaked out about it,” says Andile. Sounds like his mystery woman is a stalker with a sexy mission. But Andile admits her tenacity is admirable. “She won’t let anything deter her from mission: Get Ndumiso. Because Ndu wants nothing to do with her, he is forced to think outside the box to avoid all her unwanted advances.”

TWO WOMEN SCORNED

Getting desperate to get back control of his life, Ndu makes a grand gesture – but it fails miserably when not one but two women are jilted at the same time. “The things we do when we’re desperate can be quite strange sometimes, and almost always affect others. Ndumiso makes a move he would never usually make, with the most unlikely character. These women are both caught offguard by the gesture, but the one woman is more enraged than the other,” says Andile.

Ndumiso’s main focus is still bettering himself and making a comfortable life for his child. “You can expect a new business venture from him, and just seeing him putting himself out there, you’ve gotta admire the guy!” And clearly one woman does – a little too much still…
