Simon puts together a rescue mission after he tracks Gabriel’s phone to The Lion’s Den, Millicent has big dreams for herself and Simon, who’s stuck between the two most important women in his life, and Gabriel and Mary go head-to-head. Abednego needs to make better choices, Mary works to free Abednego, but Gabriel avoids him and focuses all his attention on his relationship with Ayo, and Simon prepares to run the hilarious Boyfriend Olympics course for Millicent and Noluthando. A life-changing secret comes out when Bones and his son Zakwe meet face-to-face, and Millicent becomes suspicious of what Sophie’s up to when she finds Sophie and Bones at home.

Mncedisi is appalled when Esther and Makwande get back together, and the pull of their past sinks in as Gabriel and Abednego are forced to work together. Noluthando is headed for humiliation, and bitter Simon keeps Millicent hanging by a threat when things fall through with Noluthando, but he’s also about to lose Millicent to a new guy on the block. Gabriel’s criminal past threatens a peaceful double date with Ayo, and couple Esther and Mncedisi. Abednego finally opens his heart to Gabriel, Sophie’s lies have lit a fire under her feet and she’s dancing for her life as people start to catch on, and Lesedi finds out about Zakwe’s dad Bones. Bones has a scheme up his sleeve when he meets with Zakwe, and Zakwe walks into danger. Mary meanwhile goes all-out to stamp her authority on the drug business, while her son Gabriel has a meltdown when he realises he’s ruined things with Ayo.
