HILTON BOWLING CLUB

-

The winners of the Dixon & Son Meat Co. Trips, played on Friday, were Robbie, Mano and Ray. Well done for beating the field of competitive bowlers! Runners-up were Graham, Di and Andy and in third place were Richard, Harry and Mike Dick. All three teams won fantastic meat packs supplied by Dixons. Another loyal sponsor, La Popote, gave vouchers to Rod, Ingrid Holness and Debbie Stobie for fourth place and coming fifth were Harvey, Steve and Sue who received vouchers to have their cars washed at Rotunda.

Saturday was the highlight of our bowling calendar – Bill’s Bash. It was an a-ma-zing

[for those who watch Strictly Come Dancing] day!!! There were prizes for eight teams all supplied by Bill Lambert and his sponsors. The winners of the Bill’s Bash shield were Fred, Steve, Mark and John Fowler, who bowled extremely well. In second place were Chris Purchase, Quinton, Sue and Andy. Both teams won bumper meat packs. The team coming third – Richard, Anton,

Marlene and John Bayley and the team in fourth place – Barend, Debbie Stobie, Ingrid Holness and Alan, both received bumper food packs, just in time for Christmas. There was great anticipation for the result of the raffle and the winner was .... Chris Purchase, the prize being two night at Fordoun Hotel & Spa. A huge thank you to Fordoun for donating this wonderful prize yet again! The morning of bowls was followed by a special lunch supplied by Bill!!
