Top shout for our mountain

CONGRATULATIONS to Bub Evans of Sea Point for his picture of the view from Table Mountain.

He says it was such a beautiful winters day morning that he and his wife decided to take the cablecar to the top of the mountain. “We hadn’t done so since the old cable cars were scrapped. What a super time we had.”

Evans wins a R300 meal voucher at Blowfish Restaurant in Dolphin Beach, Blouberg.

The runners- up are Sandy Williams of Claremont for her picture of Venice, and Lance Rumbelow for his picture of London’s Big Ben.

Williams says about her holiday in Italy: “Venice was most interesting. While taking a trip on a gondolier, I was so lucky to witness a wedding on a gondolier.”

Rumbelow enjoyed London. “It is a great city to walk around if the weather is good.” Competition rules: ● All photographs must relate to travel, and you may enter as many as you like.

● All photographs must be digital and high-resolution. No photographs taken on cellphones or photographs smaller than 700KB will be accepted.

● All photographs must be sent as jpeg attachments and not embedded in MS Word documents.

● Photographers must supply their name and surname, as well as the suburb they live in, with a phone number and 50 to 100 words describing how they came to take the picture they are submitting.

Photographs received without full details and description or correct resolution will not be considered for publication.

Photographs must be sent to travel@ inl. co. za marked “Photo competition”.
