Zeta-jones is lovely in lace

Actress at premiere of ‘Red 2’

WITH HER strapless lace dress, svelte figure and glossy flowing long hair, all eyes were on Catherine Zeta-Jones at the Los Angeles premiere of her latest movie Red 2 on Thursday night.

The 43- year- old Welsh actress looked stunning in the clinging gown which accentuated her slim waist and enviable figure.

The slinky frock also gave a glimpse of Zeta-Jones’s toned legs through a sheer lace panel which draped on the floor “mullet style” behind her sky-high black heels.

The mother-of-two appeared to be without her husband Michael Douglas and happily posed solo for the bank of photographers lining the red carpet at Westwood Village.

The film – a sequel to the 2010 action comedy – sees Zeta-Jones play spy Miranda Wood, a love interest to Bruce Willis’s character Frank Moses.

She joined co-stars Willis, Helen Mirren, Mary Louise Parker and John Malkovich at the screening.

“When I first read the script she just jumped out to me,” Zeta-Jones said about the role. “The character is so much fun because she’s such a kick-ass – well, she’s a spy with a sexy twist. Even wearing (high) heels and running through the streets of Paris has been fun for me.”

Fellow Oscar winner Mirren stepped out in a floor-length sleeved gown teamed with her favourite perspex “stripper” shoes.

She was accompanied by her director husband Taylor Hackford and they happily kissed each other before strolling in to see the film.

Lionsgate studio has already ordered another in the series, which is set to begin production next year. – Daily Mail
