Dirty stuff IN THE BATH
ENGLISH Premiership rugby side Bath said they were investigating claims that their new signing Gavin Henson was punched by a teammate in a pub.
“Bath Rugby can confirm there was a minor incident ... on Wednesday night involving a few members of the playing squad,” a statement read. “The club are investigating the matter as a priority and will only make a statement when further information is available.”
British media reports said former Wales international Henson was knocked unconscious by the punch.
The 31-year-old back has won two Six Nations Grand Slams.
In April last year, he was sacked by Cardiff Blues for drunken behaviour on a flight.
He was also released by French side Toulon after a nightclub brawl with teammates. – Sapa-AFP
