Mini-retail portfolios up for grabs in Stellenbosch

FOUR Stellenbosch retail properties will be auctioned in two lots at ClareMart Auction Group’s July multiple commercial and investment property auction.

“The two separate lots offer bidders manageable investment acquisitions with long leases and viable returns,” says agent Brandon Platt.

The first lot comprises units 13 and 14, Watergracht West Centre, in Merriman Avenue. The two units accommodate three separate tenants – a general dealer, a laundromat and a butchery.

Platt says the lot will be sold with 16 dedicated parking bays – six basement bays and 10 shaded bays at ground level. The portfolio will be on show on July 18, from noon to 3pm.

The second lot holds units 8 and 9 of the De Jonker Centre in Morkel Street, in the popular Mostertdrift node of the town.

“The two shops are both let to a veterinarian retail supplier and present a low risk investment opportunity,” says Platt.

Other tenants in the centre include a major national retailer. The units may be viewed at leisure.
