The Protea Hotel President has always been synonymous with great dining and entertainment. The Protea Hotel President continues this proud history this summer by offering patrons a variety of themed buffet evenings. Joining the worldwide consciousness around living more sustainably, the Protea Hotel President introduces a Meatless Monday buffet with a variety of completely vegetarian dishes. On a Tuesday night, a six course Oriental set menu is accompanied by a traditional pub quiz night hosted by legendary Cape Town couple Liz and Eugene recently featured on Million Rand Money Drop. On Wednesdays, the hotel takes the angst out of street dining by offering guests a selection of typical South African street food, and the weekend starts early on Thursdays with a Mexican Fiesta including complimentary frozen margaritas on arrival. The popular seafood buffet dinner dance returns on a Friday night and guests are treated to a marimba band and tshisa nyama – braai on Saturday nights.
