Wine calendar

LE KAP Lifestyle Fair combines fine wine, gourmet fare and show-jumping, promising visitors a luxurious experience at Lourensford estate, in Somerset West, on Saturday, November 9.

Further attractions include a fashion show, dressage and food and wine pairings. Wine estates taking part include Stellenbosch Vineyards, Waterford and Hidden Valley. Celebrity chefs from Overture, Steenberg, Vergelegen and Waterford will be there and artisanal brewers will widen the beverage choice.

■■■ THE PEPPERCLUB wine tastings are held in the hotel’s bar and lounge from 5.30pm on Thursdays, with the spring series finishing on November 14.

Enjoy sampling top wines with input from winemakers.

La Motte will feature next Thursday. There is no charge and bookings are not required. Weekly prizes await winners.
