Designer duplexes for sale in Bantry Bay

-

ONE OF Bantry Bay’s most popular apartment buildings has been given a makeover, with three new duplex apartments and a penthouse.

Portman Place was originally built in the 1960s, and Pam Golding Properties (PGP) said it had long been a soughtafter address in the suburb, thanks to its convenient location, excellent maintenance and secure lifestyle offering.

The three new 98m duplexes are being marketed at R3.6 million each, and the penthouse is selling for R8.75m.

PGP’s area manager for the Atlantic seaboard and city bowl, Basil Moraitis, said the new extension was recently completed.

“The new apartments were designed by Dennis Fabian Architects and have luxurious f i nishes, i ncluding f i t t e d kitchens with appliances, and polished stone and wood finishes, with a touch of stainless steel,” he said.

Portman Place is in Fir Avenue, which is within walking distance of the Sea Point Promenade, and is close to the Regent Road shopping area.

Security features include a 24-hour concierge desk, and secure basement and undercover parking for residents.

The new duplexes each have two bedrooms, two bathrooms and two secure parking bays.

The 210m penthouse has three bedrooms, three bathrooms, open-plan living areas and a wraparound balcony. It also has a garage and two undercover parking bays.
