Namibia shows strong 5.3% growth

NAMIBIA’S economy grew 5.3 percent year- on- year in the third quarter compared with a revised 2.7 percent in Q2, mainly due to strong growth in the manufacturing and agricultural sectors, the statistics office said.

Consumer inflation braked to 4.4 percent year-on-year in November from 4.9 percent in October and to 0.2 percent on a month-on-month basis from 0.4 percent previously.
