Sweeping views and a home complete with a generator

-

A LUXURY home with an eagle’s eye view of the Langebaan Lagoon will fall under the hammer at the ClareMart Auction Group’s platinum residential property portfolio auction next month.

“Langebaan is about 120km north of Cape Town and 20km from Saldanha Bay. The famous tourist attraction is the 4km wide lagoon, which stretches from Saldanha Bay to Langebaan and beyond,” says director MC du Toit.

The three-bedroomed house at 28 Egret Street has a balcony with stacking doors and uninterrupted lagoon views. It has an open-plan living area, with a fireplace, a built-in braai, a games room, a cellar and a guest cloakroom. Luxury features include a central vacuum system and underfloor heating.

A downstairs apartment has two en suite bedrooms and a third bedroom with a guest bathroom, as well as an openplan kitchen and lounge area and its own veranda.

The property has a double and a single garage as well as a secure area for boat storage. There is also a generator room and the generator is included in the sale, says Du Toit.

Langebaan is a popular destination for whale and birdwatchers and visitors come specially to see the wild flowers in spring. It is also a favourite spot for sailing, kayaking, kite surfing and fishing.

The property will be on show on December 22 and 29 from 2pm to 5pm. The auction will take place at the Radisson Blu Hotel, Granger Bay, on January 29 at 1.15pm. Call Du Toit at 021 425 8822 or visit www.claremart.co.za
