HAVING grown from small beginnings to one of the most recognised producers of finest quality upholstered furniture in the southern Africa market, Wunders Fine Furnishings is a leader in providing classic and fresh, contemporary furniture pieces.

Reaching consumers across the board, Wunders supplies furniture to homes, interior trade and leading hotels. The company exports mainly to Europe as well.

It all began 30 years ago in Woodstock, when a small upholstery company started to provide a reupholstery and repair service. allowing it to produce 100 sofas for a project or an individual custom design.

Customers who would like a taste of a Wunders lifestyle should visit Wunders La Maison at its new location in 16 Hudson Street, De Waterkant.

From fragrances to fabric, furniture to clothing, all elements have been selected by Laura Wunders and she has been assisted by her daughter, Dana, to create a unique look.

The shop will open on November 2, but will still be a work in progress until all the new stock has arrived.

The shop is open Monday to Friday from 10am to 5pm and Saturday from 10am to 2pm.
