THERE’S a great deal of fun to be had this week at the Artscape where the Stage­craft Drama Stu­dio is bring­ing Enid Bly­ton’s Noddy to life.

Noddy is a lit­tle wooden toy who got his name be­cause he con­tin­u­ally nods his head. He has many ad­ven­tures in Toy­land.

Noddy was cre­ated by Bly­ton, a chil­dren's au­thor who wrote nu­mer­ous books. in­clud­ing the Noddy se­ries, which was first pub­lished be­tween 1949 and 1963.

Young the­atre- lovers have a chance to meet Noddy and his friends in the Artscape The­atre Foyer and share plenty of laugh­ter as they learn some very im­por­tant val­ues such as kind­ness, hon­esty and friend­ship.
