Weekend Argus (Saturday Edition)
Lots of fabulous Super Animals prizes to be won
Jbjsaturday
THEY’RE fierce, fast, tough, deadly, smart, weird, sneaky, showy and definitely loud – they are the Super Animals.
Do you remember collecting Stikeez from Pick n Pay last year? Now there is something new to collect – 108 cards you can keep, swap with friends and have fun meeting some of the most interesting animals on our planet.
Over the next seven weeks, when your parents spend R150 at any Pick n Pay store, you get a pack of four Super Animal cards.
A free poster featuring all the Super Animals is available from Pick n Pay.
There is also a collector’s album (R20) filled with fun facts and activities to store your cards. Extra or swap cards can be kept in a Super Animals tin (R15).
Pick n Pay will donate R1 from every album sold to support five organisations which look after animals and the environment.
That’s not all. Each card has a barcode which can be read by a Sound Card Reader ( R50). Swipe the card and you get to hear the animal’s sound.
And there is an Augmented Reality Super Animals app, which is a free download from the Apple App Store and Google Play Store. Look out for the Big Five – special cards picturing the African Elephant, African Buffalo, African Leopard African Lion and Black Rhinoceros. When scanned through the app, the avatars become super real.
