Life for serial killer

SERIAL rapist and killer Andries Makgae is “a violent man and a danger to society”, North Gauteng High Court Judge Vivian Tlhapi said before sentencing the Onderstepoort killer to three life terms.

Andries Makgae preyed mostly on elderly women, raping them, then strangling them with their underwear.

He left their bodies in the veld. One was devoured by animals.

The crimes were committed barely six months after his parole period lapsed following 10 years in jail for a string of previous crimes.
