It is now clear that none of the parties contesting the elections is holding the ANC responsible for its role in South Africa’s Aids pandemic and its failure to address our almost worst-in-the-world road carnage which has killed millions of South Africans – in any other country these would be major election issues. – Richard Benson, Cape Town
