Zevenwacht Lifestyle Estate offers over-50s great options
MULTI- Spectrum Property (MSP), developer of Buh-Rein Estate in the northern suburbs and a number of other established developments, recently relaunched its brand, and now also offers full-spectrum property solutions, including residential and commercial rentals and sales and advice.
One of MSP’s first products under this promise is Zevenwacht Lifestyle Estate, next to the Zevenwacht Wine Estate on the Stellenbosch wine route.
“Zevenwacht Lifestyle Estate has freestanding homes and independent living units, and this is our first offering for the over-50s market,” says MSP chief executive, Riaan Roos.
Zevenwacht Lifestyle Homes consists of 101 freestanding retirement homes is six different options. The average plot size is 500m but some are up to 800m in size, and the house sizes range from 153m2 to 266m2.
All have two or three bedrooms and two or three bathrooms, with open plan kitchens with access to a yard, and living areas with a choice of a gas vent-free fireplace or mild steel wood- burning fireplace. The living areas open on to covered patios with undercover braais and landscaped gardens.
Roos says all properties have access to high-speed fibreoptic internet, and a selection of floor finishes is available, including porcelain tiles and vinyl laminate. These homes are priced from R3 million to R5.3m.
All residents of Zevenwacht Lifestyle Estate have access to the Zevenwacht Lifestyle Estate Clubhouse, with its library, lounge and bar area, and will receive patronage cards offering discounts at Zevenwacht Wine Estate.
Roos says residents also receive Call4Care 24-hour monitoring, health and emergency alert services, clinic services once a week if required, and the option of five days a year (a unit) respite care in the Zevenwacht Care Centre at no additional charge.
Residents of Zevenwacht Lifestyle Homes may also make use of the dining, catering facilities, lounges, laundry and cleaning services offered by Zevenwacht Care Services – for a fee, where applicable.
All Lifestyle Homes and independent living units are fitted with solar geysers.
For those who prefer smaller accommodation and more care, Zevenwacht Lifestyle Apartments offers 54 independent living units, with onebedroom apartments and 42m bedsitters with balconies, each with an allocated parking bay, with care close at hand at the Zevenwacht 1 100m Care Centre. Prices start from R950 000.
Security features include security guards, CCTV and access- controlled entrances with licence disc scanning.
Residents will have wi- fi tags fitted to their vehicles that automatically open gates.
