New Simon’s Town development

-

CONSTRUCTION of a new 14 800m ² mixed- use development is scheduled to start in January.

“Harbour Bay in Glenmarine will consist of 44 residential units varying from twoand three-bedroom apartments to penthouses,” says Gary Grobbelaar, chief executive for Seeff False Bay, the agency marketing the development.

“The two- bedroom units vary in size from 94m² to 124m² and the three-bedroom units from 141m² to146m².

Prices range from R2.695 million for two-bedroom units to about R4 million for threebedroom units.

All of the 190m² three-bedroom penthouses with two-anda-half bathrooms have already been sold off-plan. Each unit has two parking bays,” says Grobbelaar.

“Two colour schemes are available – the Canvas option is inspired by the sails of ships and Hull offers darker, maritime-inspired finishes.”

Grobbelaar says project completion and handover are predicted for March 2018.

In addition to the apartments, Harbour Bay will also have a retail component with 35 shops ranging from restaurants to convenience stores like Woolworths, Pick n Pay and Clicks.

Harbour Bay is being developed by Latitude Properties, which was established in 2008 by architect Herman Pretorius, and was responsible for The Galleria shopping centre in Durban.
