Open day to launch final Steenberg phase

-

CONSTRUCTION at the luxury New Court at Steenberg development in Zwaanswyk Road, Tokai, is nearly completed.

Mike Deacon, director of property developer Equity Estates Cape, says: “Now that the development has reached the final phase, we have planned an open day, with agents available to show visitors around the units and grounds, answer queries and provide advice.

The site at 72 Zwaanswyk Road will be open from noon until 6pm on October 16. He says Equity Estates Cape have designed and developed the project with empty nesters predominantly in mind. Other possible buyers are single people or people with very young children.

“Empty nesters are generally in the 50 to 80 age group who want to downsize from large family houses. It makes sense to this group to live in a secure tailor-made space once their children are no longer living at home. However they can still be accommodated from time to time.

“We decided the key to it all were buyers who want to downsize without compromise and want more than just a place to live. They need big living spaces, room to house the good furniture, antiques, books and plenty of space for things they want to store. Most of them want a separate study, a modern kitchen, a laundry and a storeroom. They also need bedrooms to house occasional guests, landscaped gardens and pool-shared facilities that are maintained by someone else. A key factor is security with a full time estate manager to take care of the details.”
