Festival theme

THE COMING annual Cape Town Carnival’s theme has been revealed – AMAZA-Ocean Odyssey.

Revellers can look forward to displays including sea creatures, surfers, fishermen, dolphins and penguins.

The festival, which attracts more than 50 000 spectators from around the world, is set to be held on March 18.

It will include about 2 000 costumed performers along the Green Point Fan Walk.
