E Cape ANC praises Ramaphosa

- SITHANDIWE VELAPHI

DEPUTY President Cyril Ramaphosa continued his presidential campaign when he told hundreds of ANC members and supporters in the Eastern Cape yesterday that he is a leader who “behaves well” when the country is in need of leaders who are not corrupt.

Ramaphosa spoke at an event at Sada sports grounds in the small town of Whittlesea.

He said: “This country is in need of leaders who will not keep promising a better life to the people, but to deliver on those promises. Leaders must not steal money meant to better the lives of people. At which the crowd erupted in loud applause, chanting: “Nguwe! Nguwe! Nguwe!” – “It’s you! It’s you! It’s you!”
