Golden praise for Meg’s striking artwork

MEG PAICE 13, a Grade 7 pupil at Camps Bay Primary won a gold diploma in the art section of the 2017 Eisteddfod for her work On Stranger Tides.

Meg, from Vredehoek, has been dabbling in art since preschool. “I’ve been drawing and painting for as long as I can remember,” she said.

“It just started out as me trying to entertain myself. I’m surprised. I didn’t think it was going to do this well.”
