Syria death toll rise

BEIRUT: At least 472 civilians, including 137 children, have been killed in the past month of US-led coalition airstrikes in Syria, according to monitoring group the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights.This is the highest monthly toll from coalition bombardments since September 2014, the group added.

The deaths were mainly in Deir al-Zour and al-Raqqa provinces, where IS extremists are active, it said.
