Boyes Drive guest house and adjacent plot on offer

RAWSON Auctions Western Cape will auction a double-storey house and a vacant plot of land on Boyes Drive in Muizenberg, to be sold as one lot, on Wednesday.

The house is currently used as a four-star guest house, says Tanya Jovanovski, franchisee of Rawson Auctions Western Cape.

The second property is a 657m vacant erf, situated next to the house.

The auction is by silent tender, with written offers to be submitted in sealed envelopes. Tenders close at noon on June 28. The reserve price is R7.1 million, but all offers will be reviewed. No transfer duty is payable. The rates and taxes are R300 a month.

No registration fee is required to bid. The buyer will be expected to pay a deposit of 5% of the purchase price, and 10% commission plus VAT over and above the purchase price on acceptance of the bid. Bidders must be registered and have with them certified copies of identity documents and proof of residence.
